Morrisville, NC – April 4, 2011 – SunTech Medical, Inc., based in Research Triangle Park, NC and a recognized leader in non-invasive blood pressure monitoring products and technology, announces the promotion of Kenneth Andersen to VP of Marketing.

Andersen holds a MS in Biomedical Engineering and joined SunTech Medical in 2002 as a Product Manager. During his tenure at SunTech, Andersen has managed the company’s ambulatory BP monitoring and OEM BP module product lines, attaining market leading positions for the company. He then served as Director of Product Management, providing strategic direction on all SunTech product lines. In the past two years, Andersen served as Director of Marketing, focusing on evolving the corporate brand with enhancements to marketing programs and guiding new product development. Prior to joining SunTech Medical, Andersen worked as a research engineer for Xanthon, Inc. (RTP, NC) and as a product engineer for IBM (RTP, NC). In his new role as VP of Marketing, Andersen will be responsible for developing, managing and executing the marketing plans and strategies for all SunTech products and technologies.
