Robert Sweitzer

President
Research Triangle Park, NC

With more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in the medical device industry, Rob Sweitzer brings a wealth of experience to SunTech Medical. Previously, Rob was the VP & General Manager of Acute Care for TIDI Products, a WI-based manufacturer of infection prevention disposables - notably protective eyewear. Other key roles during Rob’s tenure were at Smiths Medical, Magna Medical Systems and at BCI Inc, a WI-based manufacturer of pulse oximeters, capnographs, vital signs monitors and OEM boards. Traveling to more than 90 countries and living abroad in both Italy and Costa Rica, he has native fluency in Spanish, professional working fluency in Italian as well as conversational fluency in German and Brazilian Portuguese.

Rob proudly served in the United States Army & Army Reserve for 25 years, retiring in July, 2012. He earned his MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and holds a BA in Spanish from the University of WI-Milwaukee, double major (Military Science).

Lisa Boyles

Vice President of Talent & Strategic Programs
Research Triangle Park, NC

Lisa Boyles joined SunTech Medical as the company’s Human Resources Manager in 2015. As a strategic business partner within the organization, Lisa aligns appropriate and effective people solutions with company strategies and financial goals. She has 25 years of experience in the Human Resources field, most notably with complex health care organizations where she served as a vital strategic, yet balanced advisor, to all functional areas. Lisa’s passion to properly educate, orient, coach and communicate with employees effectively enables staff potential to be developed and maximized. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the College of Charleston.

Lloyd Goode

Vice President of Global Operations and Supply Chain
Research Triangle Park, NC

At SunTech Medical, Lloyd is responsible for optimizing global operations, supply chain, and technical support to meet the increasing demands of the global economy. Additionally, Lloyd is dedicated to continuous improvement and transforming processes to drive business growth. With over 10 years of experience in the medical device industry, Lloyd has demonstrated a commitment to customer-centric and servant leadership, consistently using proven methods to motivate and mentor teams.

Lloyd holds a BS in Science from Virginia Tech.

Rui Lopes

Chief Financial Officer
Orlando, FL

Rui Lopes joined SunTech Medical as the company’s Chief Financial Officer in 2023. In Rui’s role as CFO, he directs and manages all aspects of Finance and Information Technology, serves on the Executive Board and advises the Board on all matters of strategy and compliance, and liaises with the Halma Healthcare Sector and Group Finance leadership.

Rui comes to SunTech with many years of experience within Halma, SunTech’s parent company. He first joined the Halma group as the Vice President of Accudynamics, was later appointed as CFO at Ocean Insight, another Halma operating company, and later worked directly for Halma as the Sector Finance Director in their Safety Sector. Prior to Halma, Rui spent over 13 years at Smiths Medical, lending to a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the medical device industry.

Rui holds an undergraduate degree is in Accounting and Audit, from the Universidade Fernando Pessoa (Portugal). He has an MBA from the Universidade do Porto (Portugal), and a post-graduate diploma in Financial Strategy from the University of Oxford (United Kingdom).

Julian Mullaney

VP of Research & Development
Research Triangle Park, NC

Julian is responsible for global research, strategic development, sustaining engineering, validation, and clinical support. Julian has spent over 25 years in R&D and strategy development, including positions as R&D Director at Raychem, TE Connectivity, and Commscope where he leveraged legacy technologies across new business units.

Julian holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from NC State University and an MBA from Kenan Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill. Julian holds over 50 patents worldwide, was honored as a one of Commscope's top company-wide innovators in 2016.

István Szőllősi

Vice President of Global Regulatory, Quality, and Medical Affairs
Budapest General Manager
Budapest, Hungary

István Szőllősi joined SunTech Medical as Vice President of Global Regulatory, Quality, and Medical Affairs in 2024, also serving as the Budapest General Manager. In his role, István oversees the RA and QA teams across all SunTech sites, developing strategies to improve and accelerate compliance with required standards for SunTech's products, ensuring high-quality standards for major medical device manufacturers and OEM customers.

With over two decades of experience in the medical device industry, István brings a wealth of knowledge from his ongoing role as Managing Director at Meditech Ltd., where he previously served as Medical Director. His background as a medical doctor and extensive experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and clinical validations position him uniquely to enhance SunTech's global operations, driving innovation and maintaining rigorous standards. István's focus on building strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) will advance clinical adoption and trust in SunTech's products, ultimately benefiting both healthcare providers and patients.

István earned his MD degree from Semmelweis University Medical School in Budapest.

Corey Szumski

Vice President of Marketing and Sales
Research Triangle Park, NC

Corey Szumski is responsible for leading our Marketing and Sales functions, as well as directing our Product Management and Clinical teams. She joined SunTech in 2016 as the Veterinary Marketing Manager and has held several roles in the Product Management and Marketing areas since then. Prior to SunTech, Corey worked at Halma plc, SunTech’s parent company, as part of the Halma Future Leaders program. Corey earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering and a master’s degree in Engineering and Management from Case Western Reserve University.

SunTech believes it is critical to understand the needs of our customers and the users of our blood pressure technologies. Listening to market feedback, testing out new ideas and innovations, and staying on top of trends in the industry are just some of the ways that SunTech connects with clinicians and key opinion leaders. With this important input, SunTech is able to develop better products, solutions, and technologies that will better serve doctor’s and patient’s monitoring needs.
