Proper Blood Pressure Cuff Sizing for the SunTech Medical Orbit K

Choose the appropriately sized Orbit K blood pressure cuff for use with the Tango+ cardiac stress blood pressure monitor. This cuff is designed to withstand the rigors of exercise motion and includes an optional microphone for detecting auscultatory blood pressure readings with an automated blood pressure monitor

• To determine the proper cuff size, wrap the cuff around the patient’s arm.
• It is not necessary to insert the arm into the elastic sleeve
• The index line at the end of the cuff should fall within the range marked by the white range arrow on the cuff.
• If the cuff falls outside the index line, the measurements may be inaccurate.
• After choosing the correct size, a measurement can be taken
• Remember proper cuff size must be used to ensure accurate blood pressure measurement.
