How to Use the Tango+ Cardiac Stress Blood Pressure Monitor from SunTech Medical
Transcript
Specifically designed for use in treadmill, bicycle (ergometer), and pharmacological stress testing, the Tango+ reliably monitors blood pressure allowing you to focus on your patient
In this video we will show you how to use the Tango+ stress system.
Before testing can begin, make sure the ECG leads are hooked up to the patient.
Then, verify the ECG signal on the Tango+.
Now select the appropriate Orbit-K cuff.
The index line on the end of the cuff should fall within the range markers.
Apply the cuff with the sensor marker over the brachial artery and wrap securely.
For more information, consult the video for the proper sizing and placement of the orbit-K cuff.
Next, attach the cuff’s bladder and microphone to the appropriate cables.
If desired, place the patient’s finger into the optional SpO2 sensor and secure it with the wrap or tape.
The reading will be displayed on the Tango+.
Before you begin the actual stress test, take one or two measurements by pressing the Start/Stop button.
Make sure the patient is seated or standing still.
The blood pressure will display as shown.
And the Tango+ will display the beats per minute in millimeters of mercury in the highlighted area.
Once you have taken an accurate measurement, you can begin the actual test.
The interface stress system will prompt the Tango+ to take a measurement.
If Tango+ does not interface, press the Start/Stop button, advise the patient to lightly grip the bar or flip their hand over so it’s resting on the bar. This will ensure an accurate reading has been taken.
If you want to repeat BP measurements as quickly as possible, press the Stat key. A measurement will begin 2 to 10 seconds after the previous one has finished.
The measurement will flash until the next is taken.
The monitor will continue to take BP measurements for up to 15 min or until the stat or Start/Stop key is pressed.
After removing all of the monitoring equipment the Tango+ will clear the last measurement.
