The production phase consists of 3 steps: pre-production, production, and post-production.
Pre-production is where the rubber meets the road. At pre-production, the customer will have finalized their OEM NIBP module design and is ready to integrate the module with their product, create prototypes, apply for regulatory approval and prepare to launch the product. A timeline and process for integration is established and initial prototypes are developed in this step. This step is where the customer makes a purchasing decision and will work closely with our sales team in conjunction with our OEM department to finalize the supply and support agreements as well as receive support for any regulatory documentation required.
Pre-Production Support Includes:
- Component/system test development
- Regulatory: documentation, component/system testing, labeling, information for manuals, providing manuals
- System evaluation: h/w review of pneumatic layout, component placement, and leak test; NIBP regulatory, ergonomic, and usability test; error code test; accessories review
When the customer has reached a production-ready, finalized prototype, production begins. SunTech Medical manufactures and ships the agreed-upon volumes for customer integration.
In the post-production step, SunTech Medical strives to continue our support and maintenance of customer satisfaction with an annual customer report and assessment. On an ongoing basis, we ensure that any customer or market-driven changes or requirements are made or met, and we work with the customer to also meet any regulatory changes/requirements that may have gone into effect since the initial release of the product.
