SunTech Medical's Oscar 2™ Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor Selected by Intermountain Healthcare

Today SunTech Medical announces the first installation of its Oscar 2 ambulatory blood pressure monitor (ABPM) in the Intermountain Healthcare system. These monitors were placed at the flagship Intermountain Medical Center facility in Murray, UT in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley.

The SunTech Oscar 2 is the only ambulatory blood pressure monitor (ABPM) with both BHS and International Protocol validations and delivers the robust level of clinical reporting that the staff at the Intermountain Medical Center requires.

The monitors will be used at the J. L. Sorenson Heart and Lung Center on patients where there is a critical need to assess blood pressure for 24 hours. The Oscar 2 ABPM will allow the patients to go about their normal daily routine while being monitored. Once the patient returns to the facility, the data is quickly downloaded and the report made available to their physician.
