Dayn McBee

Chief Executive Officer

Dayn McBee has been the CEO of SunTech since 2000 and has 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to being appointed as CEO, he served in various capacities at SunTech such as COO, VP of Operations and Director of Engineering. Before joining SunTech, he worked for Eutectic Electronics as a design and development engineer of industrial and medical devices, and spent four years in logistics management in the U.S. Air Force. Dayn is a graduate of NC State University, IMD International (Switzerland) and the Management Development Institute (UNC-CH, NC).

David Gallick

Vice President of Engineering & Operations
Research Triangle Park, NC
David Gallick joined SunTech in 1996 and has over 20 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, quality, and regulatory fields. He currently serves on AAMI SP10 blood pressure committee and is a U.S. expert on the ISO/IEC joint working group on blood pressure. David has a BSEE degree and a BA in Economics from UNC-Charlotte.

Michael Gesser

Vice President of Finance

Michael Gesser is a senior financial executive with more than 25 years of financial management experience, including 10 years of financial leadership in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Before joining SunTech in 2014, Michael served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer and VP Finance and Treasurer of Osmotica Pharmaceutical Corp., a multinational specialty pharmaceutical company and one of the world leaders in osmotic drug delivery. Prior to that, Michael served as Director, Manufacturing Finance Global Technical Operations with Allergan, a $4B specialty pharmaceutical business. He has held Director Roles in Costa Rica and France and has also been the Director of North American Manufacturing in Waco, Texas. Prior to Allergan, Michael worked for Newell-Rubbermaid Corporation and Ingersoll-Rand Corporation as VP and Division CFO as well as Controller, Global Operations. He has an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a BS in Finance and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Keith Robinson

Vice President of Customer Service and Quality
Research Triangle Park, NC
Keith Robinson joined SunTech Medical in 2003 and has over 20 years of senior management experience in a number of diverse industries and has lead a number of multi-national business units . He has worked for such companies as Avaya, Altitude Software, Nortel Networks and Deloitte-Touche His specific focus has been in the Customer Service and Professional Services areas. Keith is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK).

Kenneth Andersen

Vice President of Marketing
Research Triangle Park, NC
Kenneth Andersen holds a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University at Buffalo (SUNY Buffalo). Prior to joining SunTech Medical as a Product Manager in 2002, he served as a Research Engineer for Xanthon, Inc. (Research Triangle Park, NC) and as a Physical Design Engineer for IBM (Research Triangle Park, NC). Kenneth has been a guest lecturer for UNC and NC State’s joint Biomedical Engineering Department and a featured speaker for the North Carolina Center for Entrepreneurial Development’s MedTech series.

Robert Sweitzer

Vice President of Sales
Research Triangle Park, NC
With more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in the medical device industry, Rob Sweitzer brings a wealth of experience to SunTech Medical. Previously, Rob was the VP & General Manager of Acute Care for TIDI Products, a WI-based manufacturer of infection prevention disposables - notably protective eyewear. Other key roles during Rob’s tenure were at Smiths Medical, Magna Medical Systems and at BCI Inc, a WI-based manufacturer of pulse oximeters, capnographs, vital signs monitors and OEM boards. Traveling to more than 90 countries and living abroad in both Italy and Costa Rica, he has native fluency in Spanish, professional working fluency in Italian as well as conversational fluency in German and Brazilian Portuguese.
 
Rob proudly served in the United States Army & Army Reserve for 25 years, retiring in July, 2012. He earned his MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and holds a BA in Spanish from the University of WI-Milwaukee, double major (Military Science).
